Aviation MRV Guideline is published

“Guideline for Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification of Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Aviation Activities in Turkey” is published.

With the cooperation of the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the MoEUCC, an MRV system is established covering emissions from both domestic flights and international flights, subject to CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation), with a newly developed Data Management System as its centerpiece. In this context, “Aviation MRV Guideline” has been designed to facilitate the use of the Data Management System. This guideline provides information about the design elements and modular structure of the Data Management System, compliance transactions performed via the system, and its details.
